When Fuel VFX was originally founded in 2000 by VFX Supervisors Paul Butterworth, Andrew Hellen, Simon Maddison, Dave Morley, and Executive Producer Jason Bath it was done so with a vision to build an innovative and energising studio that would inspire clients and crew.

As the original founders, we endeavoured to build a business with a simple preface – to pursue the opportunity to work with the best, be that client, producer, director or fellow artist, and provide an environment for us to collaborate and be creative as visual problem solvers and story tellers.

It has been quite a journey. Over time we have grown into a studio with an enviable portfolio of high calibre work in both advertising and feature films, developing an outstanding local and international reputation that we are all proud of.

Now, with the opportunity to be part of the Animal Logic Group, we have been extremely fortunate in finding a like minded partner as we move into what we believe will be an exciting future. Animal Logic has been one of the most highly regarded and innovative VFX, design and animation companies in Australia and indeed around the globe for the past 20 years. We share a similar core desire to pursue creative and technical excellence, to innovate, to build great relationships, and to collaborate with the best, in doing the best work.

We have a rare opportunity right now to bring 2 great companies together with a collective experience of over 35 years in the business.  We are excited about bringing the best ideas and methodologies from both studios all together at Fuel VFX for the benefit of our clients, crew and production partners.
